I'm not certain if we would have convicted him of anything, I doubt I would have voted to do so, however, there were extenuating circumstances and earlier bad blood between the two so it's complicated, it took less than an hour to get it through their heads that we had to acquit.

The point I made to those reluctant in the jury to let the guy go was the state DID NOT prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. I was proud to be the one to make that point stick, because it was the truth of the matter.

It's likely what the jurors will find here, unless they feel threatened by the race baiters.
