I know this is way early, but if the trial continues as it is now, I don’t know if the defense should even put on a case. They may have nothing to gain by doing so.

It's the politically correct thing to do. "George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin" has assumed the status of dogma. They must at least act like they beieve it.
