Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfullyalmost humiliatinglyco-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defenses theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

wife didn’t look out the window until she heard the gunshot
had the weapon been fired from above the casing would have been found on the other side
.
Ok, thanks.
I think Shaeffer wants Zimmerman on the stand because it would be good for ratings, not because it has anything to do with legal procedure, good legal tactics, political leaning, or anything else.
I’m sure his bosses sat him down and suggested he push the need for GZ to take the stand as much as he could. You’ll have tons of people watching if it happens...
Witness blood all over z’s head
Won’t they put him in some kind of witness protection thing? Aren’t media prohibited from revealing them?
Is this a defense witness?
Yuk yuk..
Husband told wife not to look out the window, "Don't make it our problem." Says wife saw two men outside. Both heard gunshot.
Manalo went outside after hearing gunshot. Grabbed a flashlight on way out.
Saw man standing, didn't know him then, knows who he now, IDs Zimmerman in courtroom.
Says Zimmerman was walking toward Manalo. Says he saw Zimmerman holding a cellphone to his ear. Noticed blood streaming out of nostrils down lips. Also saw blood on back of Zimmerman's head. Took photos of Zimmerman and photo of Martin's body and photo of flashlight near body. Used his flashlight to illuminate photos.
BDLR tales Manalo on photo tour of RATL. Manalo says he met Zimmerman at 'T'.
....and blood running off his lips.....verifying broken nose I would think.
Again, I think you missread what I was saying... heck, I was a Deputy Sheriff in Texas before I came to Japan..
I could have ended up in the same situation and done the same thing as GZ did.. I never showboated my firearm (we were required to wear the piece and badge anytime we stepped out of our home.. but not required to show it.. I always had an over-under shirt to cover my piece so it would not make others feel nervous... and also to give me the advantage, in case I ended up in a situation that required me to use my firearm..(never happened, thankfully))..
In ( think it was 1995, may be 1996, can’t remember), we, as LE, were required to vote on citizens carrying firearms... as far as I know, ALL of us voted on citizens carrying.
And, even as an LE, I would still put GZ as doing what he had to do to protect his own life.
we already know more about most of these witnesses' background than we do about our current president's
.
Excellent observation.
All these people in fear of their lives mainly due to Jesse Jackson/ Al Sharpton.
“Wont they put him in some kind of witness protection thing? Arent media prohibited from revealing them?”
I have no idea how that works. There’s always a snitch. I don’t trust any liberal or someone out taking a bribe. $$$
That poor guy will be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life.
I was up in Lansing when there when the union thugs destroyed the AFP tent and started doing what they do best. I was carrying. I got out of there because the S was about to HTF.
>> And, even as an LE, I would still put GZ as doing what he had to do to protect his own life.
That’s certainly how the “boots-on-the-ground” Sanford LEOs saw it at the time it happened.
It’s one thing to know it. It’s something else to prove it. Now O’Mara who knows it may be able to prove it.
Phot of back of Zimmerman's head taken by Manalo shows fresh blood. Taken before officer's arrived. Then shows photo taken by Manalo of Martin laying face down on grass.
Next a Manalo photo of small flashlight somewhat near Martin's body.
