Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfullyalmost humiliatinglyco-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defenses theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

That is a good way to not give an answer different the second time asked.
Pardon the pun.
BDLR brought his action figures to court... but even biased as she is, Judge Debbie overruled using 'em...
he’s trying to rehabilitate witness 8.
Trying to clean up DeeDee's lies.
O’Mara wants to enter his statement from that night into evidence as it is contemporaneous with the beatdown.
Bernie objects
BDLR ends re-direct. Judge tries to call recess, but O'Mara wants only 5 to 10 minutes. Judge accedes to O'Mara after checking with jury.
O'Mara presents a written statement by Good, state objects to it being introduced in evidence.
Sidebar.
WESH analyst says Good helping defense this morning.
“I’ll talk to the jury not you.”
I’ve never heard a judge be so rude to counsel. Most judges would’ve said, “Please do not address the jury directly. The Court must do so.”
I have to think that Bernie just wanted...had to....insert the word “LYING” into this testimony. He raised his voice high....just trying to shock the jury...to make them think JG might be lying??
Nice touch there, Mr. Prosecutor, to accuse YOUR witness of lying, I’ve seen many trials in my life but this one takes the cake for being Alice in Wonderland upside down.
Good said in testimony today that he didn’t see any blows but in his written statement from that night he said otherwise.
Her bull is so thick it is a complete turn off, to me anyway. She is rude and on a crusade, imho.
Never in my life have I watched such idiocy, granted I’m not in a court room on a regular basis, but common sense indicates this whole trial is cluster****.
WFTV B. S. (legal analyst) is saying that this witness said in MMA style fighting the person on the bottom can throw punches or get up and so this proves GZ was not in great fear for his life. (UNBELIEVABLE!)
News 9 talking heads now saying GZ “must” take stand, and that defense screwed up and gave “silver platter” statement that GZ was capable of defending himself with hands or could get away by rolling....sheesh.
I’m so confused at this point.
What the hell is going on?
I got the impression that BDLR was trying to rattle JG, hoping JG would make some sort of random mistake in one of his subsequent answers. BDLR generally treating JG as a hostile witness.
BS during the short break saying that JG’s testimony that the guy underneath could have theoretically gotten away is “huge” and means that Z will have to take the stand in his own defense since the defense fails to lay the foundations for self defense, that Z was in fear of his life to the point that he had no choice other than to use deadly force.
He is being paid an awful lot to say such idiotic statements, I just sit here shaking my head. ALL this effort to attempt curbing the riots to come?
LOL. Bullshit. Arguably in "guard" position, but that was a mounted position which means exactly what you think it means. It's not easy to get up from that position, and the arms are usually going to be covering up from hammerfists, elbows, and fists from landing on the face.
Sheesh...
And here I was always lead to believe that the prosecution has the burden of proof! Oh my, everything in this truly is upside down and a** backwards!
WOW!
