Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfullyalmost humiliatinglyco-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defenses theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

He sad, “coupla minutes maybe, couldn’t actually tell”. Between first sound and louder sounds, then add about 15 seconds to look out blinds, open door, and step out. Time spend actually observing time approx 8 seconds, then walked back in to call PD.
Z’s recreation had him on the far side of the T when he said okay, turning back, concluding call, and attacked moments after hanging up.
When he opens the door there are still no cries for help yet -- then he hears two cries for help and comes in and goes upstairs to call.
Lauer's call has 40 seconds of cries then the shot but there could have been cries for help before that.
There's sort of a reverse of the same phenomenon in the walkthrough, where Zimmerman doesn't remember calling for help until Good sticks his head out. As far as his specific recollection he said he didn't time his everyday life, but figured 1 to 2 minutes, then Bernie asked 2 minutes, and he said that was possible.
Not too clear in above response.
One to 2 minutes between first and second noises heard, then the time to open the door, then about 8 seconds observing, then the time to close the door, and get part way upstairs.
Why on earth would defense not want GZ to testify?
If the defense is winning the case, it is a sure way of losing. Testifying is always a crap shoot for the defendant. It does not always make sense but GZ could totally fall apart or a dozen other things could happen.
I think he would do well, the video would be EXACTLY as the one eye witness has testified...etc.
But it is not a slam dunk.

Thanks
lmao...sorry.
I believe you are mistaken, go back and watch the video again. George states that he began calling for help as soon as skittles started whacking his head on the concrete.
After John came out and John said he was going to call the police, George said that he already did, what he needs is help.
I truly understand what you are saying and don’t necessarily disagree, in theory. Not sure if I agree with what ‘is’ the highest form of truth these days ie. the court and one’s testimony. Regardless, my anger is towards the vile adults involved in this case who knowingly put her in the position she is now. Trust me UC, I found 2 days of listening to her as painful as anyone, and I know that attitude and how flippin annoying it is. I really don’t know anymore what to say since I immediately focused what got her to the stand to begin with and the bull they went through to put her there.
Don’t misunderstand, I do not feel sorry for her in relation to her sitting there with her ‘yes sir’ act, I feel worse for West and the agony it had to be trying to navigate his job. Maybe the real story of dee dee will come out once that pos crump is on the stand. That is what I would like to see and have her completely out of the picture since she clearly isn’t capable of telling us the truth, only what she’s been coached/told to say.
Thanks for the correction.
When John Guy opens his door they are right there — about 35 feet down from the T where the first punch was thrown and that had to take some time — perhaps a minute.
Then from when he sees them until he hears the shot — another minute.
So we are up to two minutes from first blow to gunshot.
From the time GZ hung up the phone until the gunshot was about 3 minutes.
That leaves one minute to look around for a street sign, try to get the flashlight to work, walk the 30 feet back down the sidewalk to the T,.... and take the first blow.
There would have been no time for anything else that the prosecution will allege took place like ... following, chasing, arguing.

How are they going to try to wriggle their way out of this??
BTW: What stood out on the rehearing is that his description of the period after he interacted with Good puts the timing of the shot almost exactly consistent with Good’s testimony.
No -- that was not John Guy who said that to George. That was Johnathan Manalo.
John Guy said that George lifted his head up while it was being pounded and looked at him and yelled atleast two times for help. That's when he went back in and called 911.
Manalo said that while GZ was walking around after the gunshot he asked him if he should call the police but GZ said that he had already called them.
Sometimes its hard to keep the Johns straight.
By an interesting coincidence, about a year ago I was a witness of a ground and pound attack in a convenience store parking lot. They covered about 15 feet very quickly.
One of the things that popped into my head last night is that Martin didn’t know how much Z had seen of what he was up to during that period between the 7-11 and the mailboxes. If he’d been up to no good, (even just casing) the last thing he’d want is for the guy watching him to find out where he lived, because that would reveal his identity. From that could follow consequences that’d get him in trouble.
When George came back into sight, probably while he was retracing his steps, Trayvon would have concluded there was no way he could go home without being seen.
Attack, under that circumstance, might have seemed a viable option.
The alternate thought, which comes from Dee-Dee’s testimony, is that Martin was doing what he considered to be a little well justified fag bashing.
I’m also curious if the first blow Martin struck wasn’t the 23 ounce Watermelon juice can in the 7 Eleven bag swung across the face or head. The cut on GZ’s nose looks like it could have come from the edge of a can along with a few of the others.
Either way, he took the time either in preparation for the asssault or right after the initial blow[s] to take the can out of the bag and put it in his pocket showing either premeditation or that that he was in control enough of this beatdown that he had time to put his soda in a safe place now.
So much for “unarmed”. I wish O’Mara had asked the PA Lindzee if any of the injuries to the face and head could have been caused by contact with a 23 ounce can???
Was that in California? If so, I’m impressed!

Why do you think Crumpster created DD when RJ just testified she was first contacted by $ybrina?
RJ said she didnt want to testify, but then $ybrina pressured her mother after RJ supposedly left their three-way call.
But, Mr. West kindly pointed out that Rachels mother only spoke Creole so how did the English speaking $ybrina accomplish this feat?
Do you think it might have to do with a fearful illegal alien mother about to lose her subsidized housing and a dutiful daughter (who speaks 3 languages) who was willing to take the heat and become the other DD?
Hint: remember how $ybrinas fake husband couldnt control his courtroom laughter when $ybrinas creation got destroyed on the stand.
Two curious statements that RJ made under oath: “others” were using her phone that day and they were doing 3 way calls.
Who were the others using her phone and who was on that 3 way call??? Is that where we will find the other DeeDee — the 16 year old one.
