The defense attorney looks like Walter White from Breaking Bad.

George Zimmerman was fed up with “punks” getting away with crime and shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin “because he wanted to,” not because he had to, prosecutors argued Monday

So then he calls the police and gives them his name and location and allows the "punk" to beat him within an inch of his life before waking uup and remembering what he "wanted to do".

NEN operator Sean destroyed the prosecution case in cross examination.

The state had nothing before and has even less now. No wonder the Martins looked unhappy leaving court. Their Titanic is sinking.

Their plan is all about enriching themselves financially. They take no responsibility that their son had become a gamgsta.

George Zimmerman is being lynched

This is a travesty

The state now is trying to replay all of the prior 911 calls made by GZ. This is outrageous....now your 911calls will be used against you

The 911 dispatcher, Sean Noffke, testified that he had advised Zimmerman not to follow Martin.

That's not true. He said that it was more of a "suggestion" because anything more than that and they can be sued.

His answers today showed that that fear still exists for them.

At about the 4:27 mark the view is from the side so you get a better appreciation about his height (taller than the clerk). By the way, aside from the skittle what did he buy? Was that a can of Old English 800 beer? Otherwise why the need to put it into a plastic bag?

Miss M, this was no joke.

The prosecutor's opening statement was brilliant. It delivered shock. Pathos. Empathy. Young love. Innocent friendship. It had a very bad bogeyman who ....gasp ... used bad language! It completely laid out the prosecutorial theory of the case.

It has nothing to do with what may have, or may not have happened. Is the jury as smart as a sparrow, i.e., smart enough to separate truthful kernels from the pile of hosshiite just dumped in their laps?

This being Florida, where the sunsmacked residents are often called "Floridiots," (IMO, among whom one could safely place Mr. Zimmerman) to overcome this opening salvo from the state will take some mighty lawyering from Team O'Mara.

To Team Zimmerman's benefit, this fantastic but powerful opening statement is really all the prosecution has. It mirrors what the MSM has been telling everyone from the beginning. Problem is if the ladies of the jury are very typical lo-info floridiots, it could be enough. Scary.

It's just possible that the state has achieved an all-white "OJ Jury" that will find that St. Trayvon, Virgin and Martyr, who really is on trial here, an innocent victim.

Want to establish a pattern indicating state of mind...can the defense do the same with Martin and his facebook postings, etc.?

The prosecutor should be put on the witness stand if he insists on presenting “evidence” himself that isn’t backed up by anything concrete... Those opening “remarks” are fully unsubstantiated and should have been objected to strenuously.

I was just up your way.
I have a friend with 5 boats, who lives in La Conner WA, we made it as far North as Nanamo then came back.
Want to go to Alaska eventually but it was a new boat, 54 footer. (New to him)
It was great for a Kansas guy like me.

HLN had already declared the prosecution a winner since they pointed out Zimmerman’s “lies.” This surprises no one with a brain.

Reminds me of the “show trials” in the old Soviet Union. With a predetermined outcome, a little theater for the western press.

Now we get a show trial in the USsA with a predetermined outcome for media, low information voters and Africanamericans

Casey Anthony was guilty and found innocent. Are you saying George Zimmerman is guilty and will be found innocent? I’m disappointed.

Or are you just saying this will be a miscarriage?

What was the kefluffle about trayvons father calling one of Zimmermans’ friends a m—f-—? And then about who should and should not be allowed in the courtroom? Somehow I missed most of it.

I think it was terrible. Starting it off with insulting the jury is a bad move.

Agree! With you. Actually I didn’t think the knock knock joke was that bad. It subtlely highlights how much press the Zimmerman and Travon case has had and questions whether Zimmerman can get a fair trial.
This was the script :
” we are inspired by the honesty of the potential jurors. Their answers have been forthright”
My comment :Right? OK Yeaah?fat chance that this defense will be afforded a fair and impartial jury, it won’t happen,
fear of factors
has been envoked. Best bet move the case to South Africa and trust the judge (no juries there)
