I really don’t fault him for fleeing, but it is impossible for me to believe he could step foot in communist China without the government t seizing the Intel.
Scott Walker didn't finish college. Should we write him off too?
Correction: Smith - Benghazi was the online gamer and not Stephenson.
CIA website and FBI hacked by LulzSec
From gaming to national security
By Marc Chacksfield June 16th 2011
Hacking collective LulzSec has decided to stop giving online gaming sites a hard time and instead put its efforts into taking down the CIA’s website and the FBI’s phone network.
Yesterday the group managed to DDoS the CIA’s homepage and along with it the FBI’s phone network in Detroit.
As per usual LulzSec kept everyone updated with its hacking shenanigans on Twitter, posting on the site: “Tango down CIA.Gov- for the lulz.”.
According to reports, it wasn’t just the CIA and the FBI, either - the US Senate’s website was also a target, but the group failed to compromise the site.
Love hack
LulzSec has been extremely busy over the last few weeks, but it has mostly targeted gaming sites. Its Titanic Takeover Tuesday campaign saw the group hack into EVE ONLINE, Minecraft, League of Legends and FinFisher.
Even though LulzSec seems to be infiltrating websites just to show how poor the security is, this latest wave of hacks will have the US government keeping more than a close eye on it.

Eve online is where Smith-Benghazi spent a lot of his time. Why is Lulz targeting these specific gaming sites? Do they think or know that they’re be CIA sites?
They know where he is. They can’t “do” anything about him yet because with the intense media focus and pro-whistleblower sentiment, it would sink them further into the negative.
” pass legislation making it a crime to hack Internet accounts”
I’m pretty sure that is already a crime.
When will people in the NSA be charged with ILLEGALLY spying on the American people?
Yet they allowed Chinese into Langley and did not monitor them, resulting in smuggling of info.

On Tuesday’s “Mornings on the Mall” on WMAL-FM in Washington DC, Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) revealed that it was the Obama Administration that allowed hundreds of Chinese nationals to work in a sensitive area of NASA’s Langley Research Center. One of the nationals was arrested Monday at Dulles airport as he was trying to leave the country when he failed to disclose all of the electronics he was taking with him.
so a secret program with secret courts, with secret judges who only hears one side of the case who also uses secret drones and then a secret charge.
Yep that is really open and we’re supposed to trust this out of control party spying Govt
Scott Walker was elected by the people. Mark Steyn and Rush Limbaugh were hired by private companies. My father was a self-made man w/ no degrees as were many others in my family. This guy was hired into a government job aka unions who require degrees. IMO, it’s significant. What or who were his contacts inside? And how many others were hired the same way. And this guy didn’t act alone.
who cares about him, it’s what he said what is more dangerous and damaging.
Pointing at him will only take the real issue off the front pages which Obama wants
I'm sure that the US Government does not know where in HK a certain man is at any given minute, if that man even half-heartedly attempts to become invisible. HK is a small, but very densely populated place. It's an arcology, for all practical purposes. There are too many ways to get to places and leave them; there are too many people to get lost among.
If necessary, the Chinese police could have him watched and tracked. Probably they do that. But they are local, they know the place, they have authority to go anywhere, and they can effectively access all the information systems to find out what CCTV cameras saw the man, where he was paying with a credit card, what hotel he is registered in. Can you imagine what kind of a spy network the USA would have to deploy essentially overnight just to track one man? If they could, they would have killed him; it would be technically easier than to follow him everywhere, in the crowd. But they don't know where he is. A man can lay low in HK for as long as he cares to, receiving deliveries from any store right at his apartment, and working remotely over the Internet and a few secure (Tor-like) proxies. (A geek's dream.)
If the feds really wanted to find someone in HK, they could go to the Triad crime families who know where everyone is. They might have to offer something substantial in return, but business is business. If the NSA knows where you and I are now, how can they not know where the most wanted person on their list is right now?
A new treaty organization is in the works. Has been, since Carter, and renewed by GHW Bush. President Obama’s approval ratings have never mattered. Much the same, as every other President, since about June 1965.
Yes, I know and totally get your point. I just want to know where he came from and what these online gamers sites are all about. Smith-Benghazi also frequented them.

Is he charge with tapping and recording the phone an Internet transactions of all Americans?
No ?
Oh, his ‘espionage’ is telling US citizens that the NSA was doing that. Oh, I see.
Thanks for the ping
