“If you and your friends choose to use the word that is fine.”
Well, nobody really needs your permission, but thanks.
“Let me guess, you only use it to describe people you dislike or disagree with.”
No, I use it to describe people who fit the definition of the word. Of course I disagree with them, because they are not generally sensible people.
I worded my previous reply poorly. I did not mean to imply someone needed permission.
If you say you and your friends use the word frequently I can not dispute you. I have no way of knowing if this is or is not the case.
I have never heard anyone use the words “truther” or “trutherism” in conversation. The only time I have seen the word truther it was on the internet refering to members of the small fringe group, the 9/11 Truth Movement. A few times on the internet I saw people use the word “truther” dishonestly to describe not just the group but also anyone who questioned any part of the official 9/11 narrative.
I have never seen or heard of the word “trutherism”.
It is a made up word that means whatever the user wants it to mean. It is a lazy and dishonest way to insult anyone who questions the accuracy of any official explanation or narrrative.
