They have on their own limited the investment returns and waste of medical insurance companies . . . except that to cover the required profits and overhead (investors will leave without profit, and management will leave without competitive paychecks), all they have to do is jack up the premiums and the prices of the services. Unintended consequences are what the far left likes to call “unexpected”.
