Pelosi: To Be an Amateur is to Cast Blame on Everyone Else June 20, 2013 - 4:33 PM By Elizabeth Harrington
(CNSNews.com) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the definition of an amateur is to cast blame on everyone else and to not take responsibility for what you are responsible for.
During a Thursday press conference on Capitol Hill, a reporter began to ask Pelosi about Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio), who earlier in the day blamed the Senate for not addressing expiring student loan rates.
Isnt that something? I mean, what is this? Pelosi interrupted. This is, Im telling you, to be an amateur is to cast blame on everyone else, to not take responsibility for what you are responsible for.
Doesnt that get a little tiresome for all of you? she said. Were so used to it, we dont even pay attention.
But doesnt it get tiresome for you when they dont take responsibility for the job that we are sent here to do? Pelosi said.
Throughout his first term, President Barack Obama repeatedly blamed the mess he inherited from the previous administration of George W. Bush for a lagging economy.
Obama also faulted a series of headwinds for failing to boost the economy, and even blamed ATMs.
Over the last six months, weve had a string of bad luck, he said in 2011. There have been some things that we could not control. You had an Arab Spring in the Middle East that promises more democracy and more human rights for people, but also drove up gas prices. Tough for the economy, a lot of uncertainty.

Oh the irony - add the caveat that amateurs also claim credit for good deeds by others and she just defined the whole Left wing.
‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean neither more nor less.’
‘The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’
‘The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master that’s all.’
