Sometimes nothing will get you in trouble faster than telling the truth.

The British Parliament pretty much just proved that they’re Nazis.

WHAT? I guess the white flag bunch doesn’t know anything about history ne’cest pas? The hitlarian bunch and the beheaders worked hand in glove so, Marine is probably spot on. Except that offending the islamish is not allowed. Even if speaking the truth.

As long as she simply quotes her targets, there can be no libel.

Freedome of speech is great until something those in power dislike

For those who think this is harsh, the Nazis were genuinely evil. They deserve the comparison to Muslims.

they're Nazis that have formally allowed themselves free speech, which they deny to all others.
The ill-defined "hate speech" is simply a cut-out from free speech against speech (and thoughts) not in favor by those that wield power.
Ms LePen's comments were entirely thoughtfully reasoned and belong unhindered in the public realm. Even if there be those that would take offense at such remarks, the good of all citizens (that are guaranteed speech) demands no one be able to use the law as a cudgel against them.

They’re worse. But we’ll all have to find out the hard way because we’re human and never learn from history.

Western politicians the world over are completely bought and paid for through campaign financing. As long as they go outside of the district that they represent for their money, and other than legally registered voters can donate with suitably low limits on donation amounts , they will not represent the people of their district.

Good job burying the first line:
Marine Le Pen faces prosecution for comparing Muslim immigration to the Nazi occupation of France after the European Parliament's legal committee recommended that the far-Right leader be stripped of her immunity. Its not what we call free speech, but then again we may be getting closer to them.

Bingo. That and allowing them to live full time in DC. We should have a couple of dorm complexes that have to reside in when in town. Just plain jane condos. Come do you work and go home.

From the last line of the article:
She follows in the footsteps of her father Jean Marie, founder of the French National Front, who was stripped of his legal protection as an MEP to face German Holocaust denials charges in 1998, he had previously been convicted of similar charge in France.
You see, she comes from a family of hate speechers.

Wait a minute. She had parliamentary protection when she stated her views.
If she loses her protection in the future, she can't be prosecuted for statements under immunity.
To: NotYourAverageDhimmi
I thought the Le Pens and National Front were pro-islamic?
