Respectfully, while I agree with the assertion that acts of terrorism were involved, and covered up, both TWA 800, and AA 587 (Nov 12, 2001) had just taken off from JFK, as opposed to final approach. Thank you.

Not to nitpick but the crash in Far Rockaway in Nov 2001 had just taken off from JFK.

That plane, IIRC, had a stripped gear mechanism that jammed the rudder full one side.............
