Remember reading about the Roman Empire when we were back in school. It seemed so strange that they let their empire simply fall apart.

its not us "letting" our country slip away.....there are tremendous unstoppable forces that all civilizations go thru to the end.....an exponentially apathetic populace, fat with over abundance, too lazy to fight or stand up to anything, rationalizing everything just to get along, and on top of that, allowing non citizens to invade the country...

most of us have studied hard, worked hard, did all the "right" things, like our parents and grandparents before us...the forces of success are just against us...
