The only time you can kill VINES, is in the fall, before frost, when it gets cool, and the leaves are starting to turn from green to red-yellow.
That means they’re taking nutrients down into the root-system for winter storage, and for next spring’s leaves.
Use a systemic poison herbicide, and dip a 1” paintbrush or use a folded wad of paper towels, into the herbicide, paint the leaves before frost and they drop-off. That way you won’t get any overspray on to your Cherry Laurels’ (Prunus Laurocerasus) leaves and injure/kill the host plant.
The poison will be trans-located into the plant’s main root system and kill the entire plant outright. I had to deal with Trumpet Vines, Morning Glory, Ivy and other pest vines all the time, on the Farm, and at customers’ homes. Fall applications work, but the timing MUST be accurate for it to work.
If you need more detailed instructions, or a list of really good herbicides (I had both PA State handling & applicator’s licenses) to use, let me know, and I’ll send you my email addy.
20ft Cherry Laurels are hard/impossible to replace if killed/choked-out by vines.

Rep Ryan, you look at Olivia Wilson’s picture, Jamiel Shaw’s, and all the other poor souls who’s lives have been SNUFFED out due to Illegal Immigrants whom shouldn’t be here. Many whom have been deported a multitude of times. Many whom have been given bail only to skip out or murder/maime/destroy families AGAIN and AGAIN.
Tell those people who have lost loved ones, friends, that not enforcing our laws and border doesn’t matter.
