Romney said his Bay State health reforms werent necessarily suited to other states. Few listened.
By Avik Roy
During the 2012 presidential campaign, Mitt Romney maintained that the health-reform law he signed in Massachusetts was not the same as Obamacare. Our plan was a state solution to a state problem, Governor Romney insisted. He was trying to fix Massachusetts uniquely broken insurance market, he said; Obamacare, by contrast, was a a power grab . . . a one-size-fits-all plan. Nobody took him seriously not conservatives, and not liberals. But today, as the nation braces for health insurance rate shock, Romneys critique of Obamacare is ringing true. Call it Mitt Romneys revenge.

he could have and should have won. But conservatives stayed home, and Obama’s minions committed massive fraud that cost Romney tens of thousands of votes in several battleground states.
“I voted for the b@stard, but I needed a gas mask in the booth.”
I voted against Obama. To do so I had to check the Romney box. I suppose that is the same thing as voting “for” Romney but there was nothing about him that made me want to choose him.
The GOP will continue to lose as long as they keep putting forward candidates whose platform is - “I’m a pretend conservative but I’m better than the other guy.” Voters want to vote “for” not against. The Democrats consistently run candidates their base can enthusiastically support.
how about this: libtards would never use NR, even as a trojan horse, to infiltrate. It’s like garlic to a vampire, or something like that, regardless of how you feel about NR.
I really don’t want to read anything more about some other greasy liberal politician, especially Romney. It is bad enough having to listen to stuff about the crapweasel in office without having to pay attention to one who isn’t.
I don’t argue with them. I just point out the foolishness. All you have to do is add water...the crazy makes its own gravy.
“We Suck Less” is not a winning strategy.
Say hello to T. Coddington Van Voorhees VII for me.
Those that stayed home had no reason to vote for Romney other than the fact that he wasn’t Obama. That’s not a path to victory. It was the direct result of Romney, his cohorts and the republican establishment intentionally demoralizing conservatives, in the primaries, in Boehner’s constant compromising, and any number of other things I can’t think of. There was no excitement for a Romney victory. I voted for Romney but was like, eh, we’re screwed either way because there’s no fight in the man. He thought he would cruise into the presidency just as Thomas Dewey did.
It was not designed that he win. He was in the race to keep a conservative out of it; namely, Newt and Sarah is she decided to run. And proof is his weak weak Benghazi debate with Barry and the blood bath of Newt. He didn’t speak the truth of Benghazi but spoke lies about Newt. He literally gave America to the enemy whom he serves, also. Everything was for show.
Yeah..we are done pretty much. Look busy, Jesus is coming soon... : )
What do Conservatives have to do with the liberal baby killing father of gay marriage Willard ???
Even Willard calls himself “a moderate progressive”
If the best that the GOP-e can come up with is ... “See, we are not as bad”, then they will continue to FAIL at election time.
Bingo - post #49 nails it
Crappy Romney and the Repub Inc idiots even attacked the RPaul activist at the GOP Convention alienating the younger voters while serving up a mishmash of Hispanic ex-Drat women and fat RINOS. GOP/Wigs were a friggin’ disaster wasting $1 BILLION to get the commie re-elected and that takes a real special type of genius!
Not just attacked, physically kicked them out. Even the ones who played by the rules and were there legitimately. The GOPe changed the rules retroactively.
The new rules ensure that only GOPe approved delegates will set foot in any future convention.
Not wasted from their perspective. Tranfered from gullible conservative Americans to Big Media and Big Party pigs.
I think the noob's efforts as using FR as his dumping ground should be rewarded by having this thread pulled. One loser pumping another loser - 'the romney era is over'.
never said i like him (hence my tagline) but he would have definitely been better than Obama. Although i do understand the idea of “i’d rather have a liberal democrat in office than a liberal republican”
Although i do understand the idea of id rather have a liberal democrat in office than a liberal republican
