Someone must have been in a hurry to go on their ‘break.’
bump
In this area Fedex is a problem. I cringe when someone ships Fedex. The problem is you can’t get here from there. Although there’s a physical address, thank you WV, there is no road to get to the house. UPS knows to put the shipment on the steps going up to the foot bridge. Fedex uses a private courier and it ends up going back to the office unless I call Fedex before hand and go through the littany of previous misdeliveries. Don’t get me started on DHL. Total disaster.
UPS is a godsend for shipping overseas and providing decent tracking.
Because USPS is less expensive and generally works very well.
The buyer can give his zip code and postage will be computed precisely and the seller has this info on the transaction record. The shipping label is automatically printed with all correct particulars including postage.
It is a fantastic system that works very well.
Well aren’t you special, bless your heart!
I checked this morning and the package that went from MD to NC and got sent back to MD is now back in NC!!!! Somebody in the USPS center in Capitol Heights, MD must have flunked geography.
also...after all this time, if it was a meatloaf someone was sending you....don't eat it.
Public service is publicly funded but offers no real service these days.
I long ago switched to using delivery confirmation to at least track packages. Sometimes things were just lost at the local post office. Other times, whereabouts were unknown with zero recourse.
They claimed they delivered a non-express package to a closed managers’ office at 2AM. Someone scans the number but that does NOT mean “Delivered”. Sometimes they will also scan them before making their rounds and arrive at a closed leasing office (when they deliver mail at 6:05pm instead of 9am-6pm like a normal delivery person).
Oh, you're no fun, anymore.
Fed X Home delivery until 8PM and they were the best!
He knew my hours and made me a late stop!
The same guy I would see a few times a week never a problem.
UPS to be avoided! Looked out to see the UPS guy rolling my new dualy workstation up the sidewalk like an old tire!Good Thing HP makes solid equipment, and packs it well! Also UPS was ‘loosing’ packages, always computer parts? Track to the main Chicago terminal... nothing? The venders were always good about replacements.
Never had a problem with the post office until about one year back, then they took a bad turn.
“Obamas big money corporate donors included:...FedEx—$500,000”
Just think of it as “protection.”
Special?
No.
But very experienced in matters relating to shipping packages and pallets.I do that everyday at work.I have done so for many years, in various companies, in several states.
As both the sender and receiver.
Not to mention a short stint as an employee of a major shipping company.
Hopefully you have learned some things about the process.
Bless your heart.
Here’s my update for today for the last package of an assortment of items I ordered from Amazon on June 5th. According to the Amazon website, USPS put the items in the package section of my community mailbox at 12:50 pm today, so I eagerly check my box but there’s no key. Meaning they’re lying or they once again gave my key to someone else. This is so frustrating. My taxes are paying to employ absolute idiots!
