Three hundred US Marines have been deployed to northern Jordan to pave the way for the West to arm Syrian rebels.
A Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, designed to protect Jordanian territory from attack by Assad missiles, has also been moved into the area.
He is sick!!
He is sick, but even worse “he is dangerous”.
Syria hasn’t done anything against the United States. It is wrong for us to jump in here. All this is, is Obama helping his friends in Al Qaeda.
This is stupidity of the highest order.
Prayers for our troops. They DON’T belong there. This is NOT OUR fight. Darn it! God, Please watch over our military!
“Are we doing the Saudis dirty work?”
YES!!
Insanity. The Obastard is arming the Syrian rebels, who have sworn allegiance to Al-Queda, which has publicly proclaimed its sworn enemy is the United States.
NEVER forget who among us voted for this POS.
Yeah, that’s the cover story, good for this year. Don’t you believe it!
He is helping Qatar and its Saudi allies. They are seeking a nat gas pipeline through Syria to Europe which will reap billions for the Arabs and end Russia’s monopoly on nat gas to Europe. Assad is a Russia ally and against the pipeline, so the U.S and the arabs want to overthrow him no matter the cost to us and our sons and daughters. Putin though will destroy the Arabs and especially our al Qaeda allies in Syria before he lets that happen. Personally I am rooting for Putin. I have had enough with the EU, the Arabs and the Obama administration. Sad to see our troops made fodder.
I like your assessment. Now if we could get a pipeline built here.
bump
And by not voting for Romney, indirectly did.
Well at least that is a reason. I don’t agree with using it to implement this new policy, but it is a reason.
I can’t really find myself wanting to back any of these players. I’m not as big a critic of Qatar or Saudi Arabia as others are, so I wouldn’t mind them getting their pipeline, but this isn’t the way to go about it.
Thanks GeronL.
Am I mistaken, but I thought I heard that these “Syrian” rebels have pledged their allegiance to Al Quida???
And this adminstration is going to arm them???
I was told it is rude to call someone a dumbsh!t (i.e.: Obama), but this I believe trumps that faux paux...
I agree. There is no good reason for the US to be arming either side or even taking either side in this.
They can bitch about it. But if we get in to deep, funding will be a problem.
And I seriously doubt Obama gives a crap how many Troops get killed so long
as there's one left to hold the Umbrella so his nappy doesn't get wet.
I understood that. I appreciate the comments. Isn’t this one obvious? We’re with Al Qaeda on this? Seriously? Does it get more stupid than this?
I’m sure we’re equally as repulsed at this one.
NOOOOOOO.
PLEASE NO.
I totally agree. Even Assad has more legitimacy - and not much with me - than AQ!
