Just the facts, Ma’am.
I honestly don’t know why people own dogs like that, except for use in security, but certainly never around children.
This is something that could have been scrubbed and nobody would have missed it. ;-(
I don't care. 5-yr-old's gonna throw tantrums...just what some of them do. I like dogs and all...but humans trump dogs.
It is an older couple who don’t have young kids of their own. The article says they were watching these kids for the parents, who are back on Moore trying to rebuild their home.
Seems he was staying with a family with a dog while his parents where in Moore cleaning up.
This reminds me of the movie “Final Destination”.
There was another incident where there was a woman killed in the theater in Co. that Batman freako.
She had been in another state earlier and just missed getting killed by another deranged person shooting people at a mall. After that she went to Co. and she was at the midnight showing of Batman and was killed.
When I head about that I thought about that movie too. The premise of the movie is you can’t cheat death.
Another article I read said that "a resident in the home had killed the dog." I assumed that to mean the owner took responsibility.
Chet99 should be invited back to freerepublic with an apology.
By a f’n 5 year old? We’re it my son the dog’s master would be dead.

They’re testicle substitutes.
Amen. I love animals but having dogs around children bothers me. I know there are many better breeds for families with kids, but ever since my brother was bitten on the head by a Collie, I have never understood why some parents have dogs around small children.
I've owned seemingly placid house cats (untrained in security) who suddenly attacked random humans they perceived as a threat, or just intensely disliked on sight.
People forget that their beloved pets are also potentially dangerous animals capable of inflicting lethal harm.
Unlike an inert weapon, they do have minds of their own, and are capable of suddenly performing irrational acts.
Prayers sent for all involved.
Your brother was bitten in the head by a collie? Wow, must be more to that story.
That experience must’ve given you quite a phobia because your statement is one of the top five most ignorant comments I’ve see on this board in the last dozen years.
Kids and dogs don’t mix! I have a rescue that would die rather than bite me or anyone in my family but he does not like strangers. When I take him to Petco I tell people don’t touch because he is unpredictable. I have another one that lets everyone pet him. When he hears anyone talking about him he walks over to them to be petted.
It seems the morons are out tonight. My brother was 3 years old when the dog bit his head. Luckily my Dad saw it in time and kicked the dog off him. If you can’t stand the truth, stay off FR.
Worst dog bite I ever saw was a Cocker Spaniel that put about 50 stitches in a little girls head. Horrible...
Dreadful. RIP.
