During an interview with FOX Business, former Rep. Ron Paul explained that he was concerned about the well-being of National Security Agency whistle-blower Edward Snowden.
“I’m worried about somebody in our government might kill him with a cruise missile or a drone missile,” Paul explained. “I mean we live in a bad time where American citizens don’t even have rights and that they can be killed, but the gentlemen is trying to tell the truth about what’s going on.”
Paul added that there were no signs of Snowden defecting to a foreign country, which meant that he was not really a threat.....

A drone strike would be too messy. If the administration wanted to secretly take him out, the best way would be to use some sort of toxin — one that would mimic the symptoms of a heart attack and wouldn’t be easily detected in an autopsy report. And then, for good measure, take out the medical examiner to tie up loose ends.

Using a drone on somebody in Yemen is one thing. Dropping a bomb or missile on hime while he is on the sovereign soil of China or some other nuclear-armed power is a whole different scene.

This is off the point that Snowden is a traitor but ...Anybody who thinks their phone conversations emails texts ..what ever is in any way confidential or somehow protected is IMHO a fool. I always assume if I want to make sure something is confidential I must actively take actions to make it confidential.
