With a headline like this, I find myself thinking From one traitor to another. Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), another one of those Republicans that should probably be labeled a Democrat, referred to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden as a traitor and called his actions a giant violation of the law. I actually chuckled a bit because this man has not even referred to the current occupant of the White House as a traitor.
Boehner appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday declaring, Hes a traitor. The president outlined last week that these are important national security programs to help keep Americans safe and give us tools to help fight the terrorist threat we face. The disclosure of this information puts Americans at risk.
Boehner didnt go anywhere near the Constitution, specifically the Fourth Amendment. If I could just add, the spinelessness of this House Speaker and the treasonous actions of Barack Obama put Americans at risk!
Boehner went on to say that Congress was briefed on the programs that were being used and that attorneys were always present to protect the privacy of Americans.
There is heavy oversight of this program, by the House Intelligence Committee on a bipartisan basis and the Senate Intelligence Committee, Boehner said. And thats why I feel comfortable that we can operate this program and protect the privacy rights of our citizens.
What he did not note was whether warrants were issued for all snooping. That would be found in the Fourth Amendment Mr. Boehner, you know, part of that document you took an oath to defend and support?

And what are you gonna’ do about it, Crybaby Boehner? Huh?
You’re all mouth and worthless. I can’t imagine what you’re putting our country through by refusing to withhold funding from scores of illegal programs.
No what this is all the politicians who are in the spot light in the passed few weeks who are involved in those other scandals are defecting attention into this guy so they won’t be seen not doing their jobs of getting to the bottom of these other scandals.
I say he is a panty-waste coward. Flame away!
I am as straight arrow as they come, however I just do not like the direction this government has taken.
I have nothing to hide with the exception of youthful mistakes we all make.
It makes me uncomfortable knowing when someone types, speaks or writes something purposefully or not might it be used against them when it was completely innocent.
That is in my mind the crux of this issue...
LOL.
I would tend to agree with you.
Lets not kid ourselves. We knew what this guy was years ago.
As far as I am concerned this qualifies him to be a traitor, but then his efforts at legalizing tens of millions of foreign nationals on our soil was the act of a traitor also.
All those who advocated for registration and legalization were traitors.
Here we are kiddos. It is what it is.
I say this: if the government is not bound by the supreme law of the Land (The Constitution for the United States) then how can any of the laws passed by congress, including those concerning treason, sedition and/or top-secret information be valid at all? They cannot, for by rejecting that which gives them authority they cut off their own authority. This is what is at issue here: those who claim that this breach of security is terrible are unthinking loyalists (to the structure of the government) who grant the government carte blanche to do whatever it wants — it is these people who will make Ruby Ridge and Waco into common events, and they will sit in smug self-satisfaction as they rot out all liberties and replace it with utter tyranny.
What if you make an intemperate remark here? I think each of us says things that are off the mark. If we were to consider it as an outsider reading it, it might look bad.
So what happens when a government agency can create a file on you? What happens when you go in for a job interview? What happens when the government decides to gift that H.R. department with five or six comments you’ve made that cause them to think you’re a stick of dynamite all ready to go off?
This information can be gamed so much. It’s almost endless in it’s ability to destroy, control, and manipulate.
How can anyone sign off on this, as being okay?
I want to know what SEAN PENN thinks!
and this from a chap ready to surrender this nation to leftists masquerading as duly elected.. never mind the corruption and now, who knows what the future holds.
He qualifies for Idiot in my book.
This PRISM project is a flat-out blatant violation of the 4th, 5th, and likely 6th amendments.
“Traitor”???
LOL
He’s an invention and a shiny object.
Kind of a sleight of hand...
People! People! Look over there!
No way this guy exists.
Not even qualified for Top Secret.
The clue is his bio.
No high school, college. That right there doesn’t even get your resume on anyone’s desk.
He’s a distraction.
Boehner is an important part of the ROTTEN ESTABLISHMENT.
He views his job as NOT UPSETTING THE APPLE CART which is what Snow den did.
Good point and I think that is the real issue. You better believe someone watches FR and other conservative forums.
On a sidenote. As a patron of the VA and a USAF vet, I know they have a file on me, probably with my DNA w/o permission. There is not a d@mn thing I can do about it.
I think Snowden is far from a traitor...I would reserve that label for the current occupant of the White House. Keep in mind that Snowden did not leak the content of what was being collected, merely the fact that data was being collected illegally on US citizens. This is far different than Bradley Manning and Wikileaks.
Boner, as viewed by the leaker and Obama (same same)
Well, I surely won’t flame you.
I’ve been (hopefully) giving Boehner a pass until now. Now I think he’s an infiltrator in the Rep. party and needs to be outed as an agent of the Dems. And what about all the Reps who voted for him as Speaker?
