House Speaker John Boehner today called NSA leaker Edward Snowden a “traitor” who put Americans at risk by releasing classified information to the media. “He’s a traitor,” the highest ranking Republican in the House of Representatives said in an extensive interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “The disclosure of this information puts Americans ... continued here

So John B has Americans on his list of enemies.

Boehner was well informed, if not a major player, in this spy net. Boehner is a traitor to conservatism, as well as the American people. He cavorts with the enemy at the country club...playing golf, and taking steam baths with the enemy.

Snowden, by all accounts known thus far, is the hero. He is a hero because he stands alone, taking dangerous and personal risks, to expose this heinous crime...of which Boehner was obviously a major player.

What you mean “we” Kemosabe? I didn’t condone this under Bush. I opposed the ill-named Patriot Act precisely because this is exactly what such laws lead to. The “war on terror” is and always has been a fraud. The real war is on you, me and every other American citizen.

At this point in our government, I would trust Snowden over congress, president, or even the courts.

” I would rather see a Democrat take over his district so he’s not around anymore as a “Leader” to cause our side so much damage.”

I have said this in the past, that if you really want to get rid of RINOs like Boner, you first primary them. Then if you aren't successful there, vote for the DEMOCRAT. Most elections are close. If enough conservatives switch to vote Democrat, the RINO will lose.

Sometimes the medicine doesn't taste good, but you'll feel better in the morning.

If we keep voting for these RINOs we'll NEVER get rid of them. Vote for the conservative/tea party candidate in the primary. If they win or not, you have fulfilled your duty. If they lose, you are now free to make a statement with your vote by voting against the RINO and for his opponent (Democrat).

Keep doing what you've (universal “you”) been doing and keep getting what you've been getting. To wit, nominating a RHINO who loses.

HOW MANY TIMES WILL WE DO THIS BEFORE WE REALIZE THAT WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT IN ORDER TO GET A DIFFERENT RESULT?

He is certainly not a traitor. A traitor betrays his country to an enemy. This man betrayed this countries enemies to it’s citizenry. There is a difference.

Poppycock! He went to Hong Kong and is being offered asylum by Russia! Why didn't he go to Congress?

RE :”Republicans keep saying this but how does telling us that the government (Obama) is spying on us make us less safer?”
................
“Trying to figure that one out too. Further I'm still trying to determine how the government's spying on me makes me safer. “

If there is something he said that helps the terrorists I missed it completely, unless they consider us not liking what they are doing the same as helping the terrorists.

This came out at a bad time for Obama, but it does show that he was just following the GOPs lead on this, especially from all the Republicans defending him.

Heck, they were happy Obama/Holder was spying on the AP too.

Come to think of it they hate the Tea party too and secretly are happy that the IRA taxed them and let Roves groups off the hook..

Why do we have a GOP again?

Boehner is right. This Snowden character is obviously a traitor - no better than Bradley “gender confused” Manning.

Just watch, Snowden is going to turn out to be some leftwing occutard hipster and all these people on the right supporting him (here on FR and elsewhere) are going to have egg all over their faces.

These programs will go on, the public will support them, only now the terrorists will know more about the tools we use to catch them.

Citizens have no obligation to follow a law that is unconstitutional.

Did Snowden brake the law? absolutely!

Was that law unconstitutional? absolutely!

Do I care that Snowden is probably a far leftist idiot who only did this because he doesn’t think Obama is far left enough? Not one iota!

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then!

And when someone speaks true to power, I will stand behind them regardless of their political affiliation.

OK enough with the politeness. If you are that stupid to even ponder much less voice that question after being on FR, you are something other than a conservative.

Check to see if any of the present governmental usurpations on this list:

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good;

He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them;

He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only;

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures;

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people;

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within;

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands;

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers;

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries;

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance;

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures;

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power;

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among
us:
For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from
punishment for any Murders which they should commit on
the Inhabitants of these States:
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of
Trial by Jury:
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for
pretended offences:
For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a
neighbouring Province,establishing therein an Arbitrary
government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to
render it at once an example and fit instrument for
introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies:
For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most
valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of
our Governments:
For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring
themselves invested with power to legislate for us in
all cases whatsoever;

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us;

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people;

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation;

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions;

No, Boner, you are.

And if you do not hold this government accountable for wiping its ass with our civil rights, then I am going to hold the GOP accountable for what Obama has done by never voting for the GOP again.

We??? We have condemned exactly this kind of abuse of power for a long, long time. You don't cast a large net over every single citizen just to catch a criminal. Nor do you do the same for a terrorist.

You must be one of those Obama was pandering to when he said “you can't have 100% liberty and have 100% security”

BTW, that maybe the dumbest thing I've heard Obama say. Or maybe not. It's getting tougher and tougher to keep score.

That’s the final straw for me. We can now pretty well guess who’s records contain incriminating information, and a pretty good bet this information is being used by this administration for extortion. This may be the mother of all scandals.

I think those that spy on Americans are the traitors to this nation.

I think those cowardly congress critters that refuse to uphold immigration laws and have allowed the massive illegal alien invasion are traitors to this country.

I think those in public office that sell out to special interests for “campaign contributions” are guilty of bribery and sedition against this nation.

Yeah, and everytime I’ve seen someone who made that assertion challenged for the names of the people killed there was a lot of silence and topic changing. I’m not in the business of defending anyone who foolishly ruins their lives thinking that Boobus Amerikanus can be dared to care about what’s happening but I don’t have any problems with what either of those two have done.
