On Fox News Sunday, Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol cautioned against conflating the various Obama scandals with the new revelations of NSA surveillance.
"Conservatives and Republicans are making a huge mistake," Kristol predicted.

I couldn’t believe it, but I was listening to Mike Gallagher this morning while he was interviewing Michelle Bachman, and they were both more angry at the leaker than at the government snooping!
I doubt Kristol said electing any of them would be a mistake. It was more that they couldn't be elected (apparently Romney couldn't either, but that's another story).
Kristol has a valid point here. NSA snooping happens whoever is president. If you find some connection to the administration's political activities, there's a valid connection to the IRS scandal. If it's just NSA internal national security activity tying it in to other scandals may weaken critics of the administration.
It’s not conflation to see the IRS and NSA scandals as each being symptomatic of an out-of-control state.
Therein lies the problem that has divided conservatives and libertarians. Those that worry consistently about the government snooping on them and those that also want to stop terrorists. Obama found a issue that would drive a wedge. Start spying on citizens and get both groups unhappy. Obama isn’t caring about stopping terrorism because he, underline, he Killed Bin Laden, not the Navy Seals, But he did. So he says. So the war on terror is over. And he starts using the technology to spy on others. Thus angering both sides.
Shut up Bill.
They are two different scandals....but living here in 0bamaville and considering what the IRS has already done, is it such a stretch for you to see that info gathered is info shared and used against an individual or corporation?
If not, give me that blue pill you took or that pipe you’re smoking.
Maybe we should just let them get away with EVERYTHING? Right Bill?
Bill Kristol is another inside the beltway pompopus elite posing as a conservative.
He is not worth reading, watching on tv or listening to.
Michael Dell...
They actually believe this program is about stopping terrorists when obama won't even admit a terrorist act when it happens? Disappointed in the stupid republicans. I don't even consider myself a republican any more. Strictly conservative. If the GOP is going to continue in it's losing ways, I'm just not going to vote any more. I've had it.
Police State Bill Kristol can’t connect the dots to see the constitutional connection to the feds violating your rights and harassing you at the IRS based on your politics and the new political KGB spying into everyone’s private life and collecting dirt on targets for political/legal extortion down the road?
Obama has officially named his political enemies domestic terrorists for the police state and the military to focus in on. That is Tea Party people, third party voters, people organized to stop Dem. party voter fraud, constitutional activists, second amendment activists, Christians, pro-lifers, Vets, anyone speaking “hate” the glory of Dear Reader (white racists)), Islam and anal sex...
Bill is either stupid or a corrupt police state, anti-freedom, treasonous propaganda king. Your paranoid anti-terrorist policy has gone way over the top, Bill. Back off and buy a clue before that paranoid hate machine reachs out and touches you and yours. Maybe the AmKGB has dirt on Billy.
But the broad scandals all dovetail neatly ~ either at the White House or in Chicago.
Coulter and Sean Vanity are two others I detest. Vanity constantly refers to hard core dims are “his good friend”. I don’t have any friends all others are acquaintances that I don’t trust as far as I can throw them to speak the truth on anything.
The problem with IRS is the 16th amendment. Get rid of the amendment that problem is solved. Anything less just pushes the pieces around on the chessboard.
Congratulations. You win “Most Unreadable Post” for the day.
Bolton echoed those very words.

Rush Limbaugh....
Yep, this guy dropped out of college as well...
... still, - I think he did alright.
A mistake in that the GOP started the blanket wire taps.
This could hurt the GOP.
