Edward Snowden, the self-revealed whistle-blower at the National Security Agency, explains that part of the reason he decided to come forward was because President Obama did not roll back the surveillance measures put into place by the Bush Administration.
A lot of people in 2008 voted for Obama. I did not vote for him. I voted for a third party, Snowden said in an i nterview with the Guardian. But I believed in Obamas promises. I was going to disclose it [but waited because of his election]. He continued with the policies of his predecessor.
Snowden acknowledged that he watched Obama struggle as he attempted to justify the surveillance programs during his press conference on Friday.

You never know when the neighborhood block leader will simply not like your face.
Unless you are interested in destroying existing dossiers you're just huffing ~ no need to listen to you if you aren't willing to go all the way with this.
True, but they are only going to use it for good.
Is a sarcasm tag really necessary???
On his own, his words are so parsed, he is running out of words. The Parser in Chief comes to mind. Where there is parsing, there is zer0 truth.
His Syndicate style operation works from executive orders created by his circle of Democratic Socialists of America (a 501(c)4)organization by the way). It is a collaborative effort on steroids (think baseball players on steriods--that's the picture). The problem is Zer0 gets his ideas rooted in the failed ideology of Marxism. That is stupid on stupid. He represents zer0 good for America.
The number of scandals that have come out of the Obama Syndicate are stunning. For a list, go to Freeper Nachum's List:
Fancy name for a personnel file. I have one too. Big deal.
Do you know what’s on the lefthand side? Took some whistleblowers to destory their careers to get the right to read it. Go ask.
OK, I give up. I’ve been trying to ascertain how you now he voted for Obama. He said he voted 3rd party. What have I missed?
The cover sticker is being ripped off to reveal that we don't call him Zer0 for nothing.
yes
“he’s probably mentally ill since he supported obamamugbe”
If you aren’t a liberal when young, you’re hardhearted.
If you aren’t a conservative when you grow up, you’re softheaded.
Just to be safe, let’s take his guns away .... yeah, that’d be great.
“~ no need to listen to you if you aren’t willing to go all the way with this.”
Let me explain this to you in the most simplistic terms. I don’t support any invasion of personal privacy. I fully support the 4th Amendment as written in the Bill of Rights.
I think the bogus fear mongering and the domestic spying on American citizens, in the pretext of keeping us safe, is unconstitutional.
The Boston Bombers are an excellent example of the effectiveness of this so called Data gathering to stop terrorist attacks. Those two jerks were in your face, twittering, facebook, muslim radicals
The US government is spinning out of control and the average citizen is facing tyranny from the very people we elect to protect and serve us in Washington.
I’m just saying. Most 25yr olds DID vote for obama. And even if he didn’t finish with a diploma he still had X years of indoctrination in what was statistically a public school. Indoctrination begins at K4 or K5 there.
And no, I wasn’t judging him negatively. In fact I was defending his relative ‘trust’ in the system. It’s a good thing he’s learned to think for himself. Hopefully he will continue this.
Some of the dumbest people I know have PhD’s from Ivy League schools. I’m talking not smart enough to tie their own shoes dumb. One of the smartest men I know dropped out in 10th grade and joined the navy.
This kid makes me wonder how conservative 25yr olds might be had they not been brainwashed, most of them, for the duration of their public school tenure.
That's a real small list in 2008!
Simple deduction is that he actually voted for Obama! Alternatively, he may not have voted at all but that can be checked.
He's now in China.
You'd have to be brain dead to trust anything this guy told you about his integrity, or what he told you about the integrity of others.
Getting back to basics, this is about METADATA, not recordings of domestic telephone calls. SEE: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/newsdesk/2013/06/verizon-nsa-metadata-surveillance-problem.html
BTW, I also think this is about the voices he hears in his head ~ a problem we haven't heard about from him ~ something he keeps quiet I"m sure ~ but we will later once his 'control' for his classified access gets cited.
He may be suffering from schizophrenia.
Here's my problem with you: I never see you ONCE on these threads impugn the government for this heinous and overreaching surveillance program.
Because of that, I percieve you as a dedicated enemy of freedom.
Daniel Ellsberg on CNN right now.
