And so begins our annual 8th TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot. We are having a great time!
The Mom and crew are busy with family who stopped into town to attend the shoot and visit, so she asked me to get the thread started.
Look for comments and pictures over the next several days!
Yes, I noticed. What I want is for you to realize that you didn’t see what you thought you saw. You say you are hollering about ligtening while we are partying. That is not the case. Having your posts removed doesn’t indicate to me that you understand that.
lightening!
Sometimes you are....
Woo hoo!
And we’ve arrived our hotel in Las Cruces! Tombstone tomorrow.
Onyx said to tell you ‘Goodnight sweetie pie’! Keep us posted on your journey home!
God speed!!
Eaker’s daughter can put serious lead down range be it from an AK, AR-15 or one of those damn plastic guns. The sons, daughters and grandchildren of the Texas Cowboy Group do know how to shoot.
Sleep well! Stay safe for the rest of the journey! It was so good to get to see you, Sheila and Chris again!
Sweet dreams!
Glad you could make the trip again this year.
We have one here, but I have never been. Maybe I’ll talk the spousal unit into it.
Keep us posted on your whereabouts until you get home.
Haven’t heard from y’all. Did you get home okay?
It seems like you have had a great event that was enjoyed by all.
I have been very discouraged this week by the news. I feel as if our country is unraveling fast and I wrongly expressed these feelings inappropriately on the wrong thread.
I felt them along the "Battle Road", between Lexington and Concord as well.
You were right, that is a good picture of me. As good as a pix of me can be that is. At least it didn’t break your camera. :)
I didn’t take off from San Marcos until about noon. Then stopped in Austin for a quick visit with my grandson, who is almost 4 months old. :) Then traffic on I35 was horrendous. Left Austin about 2, should have been home by 35 or 5:30. It was closer to 6:30. Then had to haul guns and ammo the length of my apt. building, and up a flight of stairs. :)
OH! Well, that’s okay then. [smiles fondly at you]
It was really nice to see you too. Any friend of Onyx is a friend of ours as well.
Living closer would be wonderful, but we can’t manage it just yet.
God bless you and yours, dear lady.
Thank you, darlin’.
We should be in Memphis by this evening.
Drove through a lot of rain but no troubles except for the overly crowded Buc-ee’s.
Godspeed and safe travels my FRiend.
It was a pleasure to meet you in person, shake your hand and introduce my family (at least those that could attend).
God Bless you and all your efforts.
Mrs alfa6 and I made it back to Kansas City about 9:30 Sunday night. We cleared the Motel about 6:50am and headed for Ardmore, OK. Got to Ardmore about 1pm and just kept on going.
Ran into a pretty good rainstorm in Austin, about 8:30 or so, when the semis are doing 40 so do I!!! The hard rain only lasted maybe 10 minutes or so. Other than heavy traffic in Moore, OK from gawkers and a traffic stop that had a lane closed it was smooth sailing.
Mrs alfa6 had a nice time and her allergies calmed down after a few hours in the A/C.
Looking forward to next years event.
Regards to all
