I didn't read anywhere that she's in front of the line just that she's been put on the adult list. It's not going to do her much good to be on the adult list if she isn't bumped to the front of the line, is it?

It's not going to do her much good to be on the adult list if she isn't bumped to the front of the line, is it? Sure it is. If priority is based on condition then she should be moved up. Otherwise most of the kids may as well just be euthanized now since so few pediatric lungs become available.
If the science is good and they can do the transplant then why have two lists?
