Well, I think there’s some truth to that.
I will tell you though, that no matter how good your values, or how strong you think your faith in God is, when you’ve lost your job, your spouse leaves, you are dependent on her for income, and your self-respect has vanished along with everything else, all the preaching in the world from any source will be extremely iffy at saving you.
If you happen to be 60+, there’s an x-factor to be considered on top of everything else too.
You take a look at those numbers. Men aren’t doing this for no reason at all.
That is why having faith, friends, and interests are very important.
You’re wrong. A dynamic relationship with Jesus will overcome anything. There will be dark times, but Christ’s provision and comfort is supernatural and absolute for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
