Far better to raise your kids so they are constantly contacting you out of need?
I do believe Boomers have actually raised kids who stay much closer to their (often helicopter) parents than was the norm in the generations before them.
When I say, ‘need’, I’m not referring to capability. I’m referring to emotional closeness, Sunday night dinners sort of thing.
