What might be able to be done is that some Bishop against this disavows (fires BSA get no funds) that chairman and gets some Catholic organization like the KC’s to set up their own sponsoring council. Or organizes the CBSA Catholic Boy Scouts of America much like the late Bishop Bernard Shields did with the CYO.
