Huh? It was hugely popular at the time among everybody. and remains hugely popular. There was a lot of blowback about it from the Left actually that they made Archie too likable. Apparently, Bill Cosby still hates it.

If you dig deep enough you can find some sort of ‘bias’ in just about anything. A cultural artifact will reflect some world view. If its too narrow or shallow it won’t endure. Lear later had The Jeffersons which centered around a black racist. You would NEVER see that today.

There is zero doubt what the politics and the political purpose of all in the Family was, some on the left wanted more from Archie’s character and was disappointed that some people couldn’t see his true role, but that is what makes propaganda effective, it has to be palatable enough to get delivered, to reach the public.

Children’s TV does the same, it can’t work if it is so obvious that the parents just forbid it, and turn off the TV.
