A gay couple alleges an innocent peck nearly caused them to be ejected from their cab onto a rain-slicked Kennedy Expressway earlier this week.
Steven White and his boyfriend Matt McCrea were on their way from O’Hare Airport Thursday night, they tell CBS 2’s Brad Edwards.
During the ride, McCrea “leaned over to look at something on the phone and then he leaned in to kiss me,” White recalls.
McCrea says it was a closed-mouth kiss that lasted all of a second. It did not go over well with their cab driver, the two men say.
It was 11:30 p.m. The Park Ridge Police Department was called where the couple was dropped off at a grocery store on South Cumberland. The driver said the couple was “making sex,” but police found no proof of the claim.

Homosexuals can be so obnoxiously difficult. If they just acted like everyone else and demand special treatment, there would be a lot fewer problems with “acceptance.”
I don’t go around publicly talking about what I do with my private parts and I don’t want to know what other people do with theirs. Seems fair enough to me.

Good bet...they did not ID the driver...so at least cabbie is part of the Protected Class. If cabbie was white he would be named, address given, age, etc

Instead they are hell bent ( pun intended) on recruiting our children in schools and pretty much anywhere else they can infiltrate. It is now more important than ever that we teach our children right from wrong and teach them to be unafraid in their beliefs, or else they will be lost.

Homos are well known carriers of infectious diseases. The taxi driver is obviously looking out for the safety of himself and future customers. I applaud him for his actions.

I would be interested in that as well. Discrimination and hate crime laws have become a means to suppress free speech and religious belief.

My thoughts on this is that-if he is a Muslim and was offended so threw them out of his cab, who is next?
Will women in his cab be told (not asked) to ‘cover up’ because they are showing too much skin? Or wear a head scarf? And if they complain and the police are called will the woman be arrested for infringing on the cabbies civil rights? (according to the latest and greatest from the DOJ this week regarding anti-Islam thoughts)...

Per a quick google, kissing family (and friends?) is okay in Islam if it is not for “lust.” In the present context if this is homos, it’s for “lust” and hence verboten. STILL... I wonder if there is any rule in Islam forbidding transporting people who are sinning according to Islam. At any rate, Islam cabbies are a peculiar situation. Many won’t transport Canis familiaris, aka a dog, either.
