Don’t you hate songs about songs, that is about theirselves? I do. If you don’t, then explain to me this typical of this subgenre lyric from “Fire and Rain”: “I woke up this morning and I wrote down this song”. What did he write down after waking up? I read it as that he wrote down “I woke up this morning and I wrote down this song”. Does this make sense? Does “This is your song” makes sense? What exactly is “your song”, “this is”? Please help, or Help please!
Not sure I can speak to the specific songs, but, have you ever taken a couple mirrors and positioned them so they have that “endless” sort of tunnel look with a juxtaposition that approaches infinity?
