A woman handing out pizza samples at a Virginia Costco was shot and killed by sheriff's deputies Wednesday afternoon after she began acting strangely and came at the officers with a weapon, authorities said.
A sheriff's deputy also was wounded in the leg, possibly by a ricochet. He is expected to recover.
The melee began at about 3 p.m., when store employees noticed the woman acting oddly at the Costco in Sterling, Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman said. Witnesses said she seemed upset about the pizza she was handing out.

Sorry, don’t buy it. A woman with a knife should be disarmable by a competant cop. She wasn’t a weapons exepert - THEY are PAID to be ones.
If military people are trained to do this, cops should be capabvle of doing it.
But then, its increasingly apparent we have precious few COMPETANT cops, and a whole Benefit Package Full of paramilitary wannabes instead.

This was a really bad shoot, and was totally unnecessary.
Law enforcement grade Tazers are strong enough to cause NMI (which would cause the woman to drop both the knife and scissors) in nearly everyone UNLESS they are having a psychotic episode (usually drug induced).
I'm still trying to figure out what you meant when you said you'd tuck and roll. I have to suspect that you don't know what you're talking about based on your outright lack of knowledge. Simply throwing out some slang and false statistics isn't a substitute for fact.
If this woman was my daughter, wife or mother, there are eight cops (and a store manager) that would not be able to afford an unguarded moment as long as I still drew breath.
Sure I have. There are many options before killing someone.
Shooting is easier if you lack the training or will to do more than fill your hand with a six shooter.
We now have no need to suspect that you’re either a total idiot, or another killer-cop, you’ve confirmed it.

I gotta agree with that one. The 'I'm a professional you're not so do as I say and abandon all critical thought' line gets tiresome.

I can see why a half dozen men would fear for their lives in her presence. Their only chance was to empty their magazines into her at point-blank range.

Xactly. If the autopsy shows anything like that, these killer cops should be sued for everything they own. And charged with excessive force. This was not necessary. Those who serve and protect have become knee-jerk cowards.
Sorry, but cops dont protect anything anymore, they just come to clean up. I would prefer the old west at this point. Give me my equalizer. I can take care of myself thank you very much.
