JERUSALEM
(Excerpt) Read more at newsmaxworld.com ...
Bibi better warn 0bama and McCain at the same time.
It take no backbone at all to paint a bulls-eye on your nation.
It does take backbone to work behind the scenes to trade something Russia wants so they won’t do this. There are other behind the scenes tactics they could deploy also.
All this does it tell Russia they need to up their military presence to protect the S300s, and essentially admit that if anything happens to the missiles, Israel was the one who did it.
DUMB...
I’m sure McCain has his inside men working against Netanyahu. They’ll keep him informed.
Yeah, like five minutes AFTER they destroy the missiles.
I respectfully disagree;
Israelis know where the weapons will end up.
They know to whom these weapons will be used against.
They have been at this a long time. They read the “tea leaves” better than you or I.
:)
Is Israel on the side of the Rebels or are they simply trying to keep Syria from becoming proliferated with arms on either side?
“...Is Israel on the side of the Rebels ...”
I believe not. They most likely can predict the outcome. But either way, they do not want advanced weapons falling in the hands of wrong group.
I think the latter half of your questions is a good observation.
Up to this point Syria and Israel at least appeared at “peace”.
(note appeared)
Excellent Point!!!!!!
wish I had said it!
If the Russians think they got their ass kicked in Afganistan, they will think they backed up into a buzz saw if they screw around with the Israelis. "NEVER AGAIN....NO BULLSHIT". And Odumbo golfs on.
It also lets Russia know the Israelis have no way to counter the S-300 once deployed. The EU/US dropping the weapons embargo and McCain sticking his nose into it, are only going to cause problems. Seems like the US leadership has one primary goal. Screw every nation state.
Im assuming these will be shipped by sea rather than air. I am sure that ship will look like swiss cheese and never make it to the harbor to unload.
Yep, doesn’t look good. There’s a lot of connections in this, and that could come back to haunt us big-time. Thus Israel isn’t only determining it’s own policies here. It’s sucking a lot of other nations in with it, or against it.
KimTom, the problem is, we’re not just talking about Israel/Syria here.
We’re also talking about Russia and the United States, and the allies of each.
I don’t want Russia moving those S300s to Syria, but I also don’t want this escalated to the point that we have a major multi-nation confrontation on the plains of Megiddo either.
Take whatever action you feel you must Israel, but don’t telegraph your punch so publicly that Russia has no choice but to retaliate openly to save face.
You have to leave your enemy a way to save face. You take that option away, and you force that enemy to save face at your expense.
Not good.
...every nation state + as long as they get in line behind him screwing our own.
Agreed!
