Russia of today is not the same as the Soviet Union. It is rapidly re-Christianizing... And they want to protect their Christian brethren in Syria — 10 to 20% of Syria is Christian and they are protected by Assad from the AlQaeda “rebels” who would exterminate them
What a load of nonsense, they want to protect their military assets already in the country, nothing else.
Their is nothing remotely Christian about Putin and his gangsters. They are about as evil as you can get, no better than the terrorists and just as much as a long term threat.
