Ted Cruz gets ire from Chris Matthews, Bill Maher, and Gail Collins

One thing can be said about Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is that he attracts media ire as much as a Hollywood celebrity attracts paparazzi. If one’s worth is measured in the number of one’s enemies, Cruz is richer beyond the dreams of avarice.

Chris Matthews, the MSNBC talking head, left a blog post on May 24, 2013 that stated, without apparent irony, “Pay attention to Senator Cruz because he is the unsmiling, contemptuous face of the wild, nasty, hard-right fringe of a party that once competed with the Democrats to be the country’s governing party.”

Bill Maher, also without irony, took to his own blog, quoted by Newsbusters, and stated, concerning Cruz’s alleged presidential ambitions, “And you can bet the farm that he will run, because he's got Newt Gingrich's ambition and ego mixed with the steely-eyed focus of a serial killer. He's young and Cuban, like Rubio, but even Tea Baggier -- and totally unwilling to compromise with liberals on anything, including eating with a knife and fork.” “Tea Bagger” is a pejorative used against members of the tea party movement that is a reference to an exotic sex act.....

I can say without equivocation, Ted Cruz is the best senator that this country has seen in decades.

Yep. Maybe the best since Jesse Helms, who was perhaps my favorite Senator. You can judge how good a politician is by the ugliness of the sneers they draw from scumbags like Maher and Matthews.

Well .. Cruz doesn’t scare easily. Besides, he’s an Ivy League Debate Champion; graduated from Princeton and Yale.

This guy is so smart .. he’ll have them chasing their tail till they run into each other .. LOL LOL

However, being a debater gives Cruz the edge; he doesn’t raise his voice, he doesn’t change the expression on his face, and he never lets them see him sweat.

Remember .. he had Diane Feinstein babbling like a brook.

None of these liberal clowns know how to debate .. all they know is how to yell and argue .. big difference.

And .. just as an aside .. I’d still vote for Palin in a heartbeat; she doesn’t scare either.
