Swedes Take to the Streets to Defend their Neighborhoods
Fria Tider ^ | 5/25/13 | Lumik

Stockholm. Faced by another night of terror at the hands of predominantly immigrant rioters, Swedes grown tired of the police’s inability to put an end to the unrest took to the streets Friday night to defend their neighborhoods. The vigilantes were described as a motley crew of homeowners and concerned citizens, as well as neo-Nazi activists and football hooligans.

In the Stockholm suburb of Tumba the police decided to abandon their earlier non-intervention policy as a large group of police officers rounded up and dispersed a group of vigilantes trying to fend off rioters.

The decision to round up vigilantes while, according to Stockholm Chief of Police Mats Löfving, ”doing as little as possible” to stop rioters, met with a wave of protests in various social media and on the Internet. Representatives of some vigilante groups contacted Fria Tider to give their view of last night’s events.

– The number of police officers on the streets is simply staggering. The police appear to have focused all their resources on stopping the Swedes, Fredrik Becklin, spokesman for the nationalist youth organization Nordisk Ungdom (Nordic Youth), said Friday night.

– It makes me sick to see the police clamp down on us Swedes with full force and without warning, using nightsticks and tear gas, while they don’t do a damn thing about the immigrants. We are only trying to help maintain order, while the immigrants set cars and buildings on fire, said a young man who wished to remain anonymous.

The police, however, rejected the accusations as unfounded.

– The police talked to them and checked ID on a few, two of them were removed from the scene, they were not arrested but ”removed” as we call it, police spokeswoman Tove Hägg said to Fria Tider late Friday night.

– They were at the wrong place at the wrong time. They didn’t understand it themselves and they had been told to disperse, but refused to do so.

Later during the night the police appear to have relaxed their attitude to the presence of vigilante groups in the streets. The police is reported to have stepped aside and watched as a huge crowd of vigilantes chased immigrants throught the streets of Tumba, chanting ”the city is ours” and ”we will do what the police can’t do”. Several independent sources testify about vigilantes managing to scare away groups of rioters torching wastepaper baskets.

It sounds like the police were taking the side of the Muslim rioters, and were trying to run interference for them.

“The police appear to have focused all their resources on stopping the Swedes”

Why am I not surprised? It won’t be long before there’s a Golden Dawn in Sweden too, if the police and others continue to treat the Muslims like an aristocracy, above all others.

Swedish police are getting confused orders. On one side, the political folks in the local areas...just want everything to quieten down. That means the cops ought to on the backs of Muslims and making sure they are off the streets. On the other side, the national political figures are afraid of upsetting the Muslims in the country and casting a bad light on their friendly nation.

My humble guess is that someone from the English Defense League is in Sweden this weekend and organizing. It may take two weeks....but something called the Swedish Defense League will likely appear shortly. It won’t be a pretty or safe picture, and the fact that we are barely into June....giving them weeks and weeks to stage demonstrations before the harsh winter arrives.

The summer of 2013 promises to be fairly interesting in Sweden.

presumably there are Swedes tracking FR and other American sites to see what we might think about this.

One is that those cops have families ~ some with children, maybe even a legal wife or two ~ there are no riots in their neighborhoods.

Swedes can FIX THAT PROBLEM

Does Sweden have anything similar in their laws to our Second Amendment?

“riots in sweden..”

Clearly, it isn’t the Swedes who are rioting...it’s the feral underclass that Swede liberals have imported to wreck their society.

Libs bring savages into the land of civilized people, and then get surprised when they in fact ACT like savages.

The reason is simple enough - and it’s the reason we will see the same official reaction here in the USA: rioting immigrants/minorities/underclasses offer a government many opportunities to expand its power, while vigilante citizens who take matters into their own hands pose a dire threat to a government’s power.

Swedes, your government is your main enemy. Apply the Solzhenitsyn Solution.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” — Alexandr Solzhenitsyn

“...neo-Nazi activists...”

Neo-Nazi? Gee...and here, all this time I thought the Swedes already had a SOCIALIST government.

If that’s so, why would they be upset that there are National SOCIALISTS out in the street...?

I guess some socialists are worse than other socialists...

A motley crew of neo-Nazi hooligans, eh?

That’s what you get called for defending your homes and your neighbors from rioting Muslim Yutes on the public dole.

Defend your family and your neighbors when the police won’t do it? How awful!

I think that refers to soccer fans. In Europe, via UK-speak, “football” means soccer.

Notice how detailed they describe the “vigilantes” while the rioters are simply immigrants - no mention that they’re mostly Muslims.

The same mentality that caused “Anders Breivik” off the reservation.
