On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed Allahu akbar! as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much road kill.
As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath...

Consider how that will play when these guys jihadist snuff video is being hawked around the bazaars of the Muslim world. Behold the infidels, content to be bystanders in their own fate.
This passivity set the tone for what followed. In London as in Boston, the politico-media class immediately lapsed into the pneumatic multiculti Tourettes that seems to be a chronic side effect of excess diversity-celebrating: No Islam to see here, nothing to do with Islam, all these body parts in the street are a deplorable misinterpretation of Islam. The BBCs Nick Robinson accidentally described the men as being of Muslim appearance, but quickly walked it back lest impressionable types get the idea that theres anything of Muslim appearance about a guy waving a machete and saying Allahu akbar. A man is on TV dripping blood in front of a dead British soldier and swearing by Almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you, yet its the BBC reporter whos apologizing for causing offence. To David Cameron, Drummer Rigbys horrific end was not just an attack on Britain and on the British way of life, it was also a betrayal of Islam. . . . There is nothing in Islam that justifies this truly dreadful act....

Mind-boggling.
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
In Glasgow, it was right after a football game
Well, Scotsmen are not really British, are they......
Yes, we are. And currently 70% of us want to remain part of the UK. I wish Americans would understand what Britain is and what being British means. Not having a go at you per se.
I live in Massachusetts, and you are correct. "Boston Strong" is a meaningless slogan. But even here it's possible to get a license to carry.
And we're not like Texas, or the rest of middle America.
“I wish Americans would understand what Britain is and what being British means.”
Well, tell us, then. You have the floor.
Simply, Britain is not the same as England. Which most of the world thinks.
Britain is a state made up of England, Scotland, Wales. Along with Northern Ireland. So I can be, and be proud to be, Scottish and British and they arent mutually exclusive. As a sidenote, Scotland joined the UK/British state, it wasnt conquered into it by England.
And many UK Islamic groups, to be fair, have been on tv and radio here to attack and denounce the two men and the killing and to pray for the soldier.
You may be legally able to defend yourselves, but the will to do so has been beaten out of you. So there is no practical difference between the two any longer.
Good Lord, your government is jailing people for the content of their Tweets. A rational society wold be dragging politicians into the streets for a good tarring and feathering. Instead you do.......nothing.
A sobering thought to the citizen taking action is the plight of one Robert Zimmerman. Zimmerman fighting for his life in the courts. Even if he is acquitted he may have to look over his shoulder for a very long time.
I guess it is just where one lives in the United States or Canada for that matter. A gang of punks many, many years ago, where I live in Canada, started tipping over tents at a beach. A man shot one of them. He was acquitted because according to his lawyer, his tent was his "house" at that time. Luckily it was not in Toronto for the man.
For all intents and purposes, at the time and place of the untimely demise of Drummer Rigby, nobody had the means and will to defend themselves.
In the aftermath, it appears that anyone who says "Something's not right here" is being prosecuted by the government.
Life for farmer who shot burglar
Farmer who shot intruder walks free
Last year Martin had his life sentence reduced to five years on appeal. So Tony Martin did 5 years for a case that should have been dropped or had a jury nullification.
As far as all types of homicide and violent felonies, if you subtracted those crimes committed by the USA's two largest minorities from our total, I doubt that there is a significant difference in those rates per 100,000 between our respective populations.
Right. Some people prefer handguns, but you don't have that choice. Too bad.
I KNOW it to be untrue because I was myself the victim of a 2008 burglary and attack, where I used force to defend myself and my property,
With a shotgun? Is that a good way for defense against rape? Also keep in mind when comparing statistics we have a much larger criminal class.
“You got the picture!” Now I hope and pray that others wake up.If just 5% of the population wakes up, resolves to fight and does fight; we will win back the West and start our “Silver Age.”
BIG difference and it comes down to a four letter word between the USA and Britain: GUNS.
Pretty much says it all.
>Hence, their consuming hatred for Israel.<
.
The world still doesn’t get it — their consuming hatred is not only for Israel, but for anything and anybody not islamic.
Britian is dead...they just don't know it.. yet...
