The abuses are incriminating in and of themselves. Whether or not they are held accountable depends on the human factor.
Coupled with her planted question, I think she is in effect confessing. She wants a deal to sing because she fears for her life. That’s what the sales guy in me says.
You know I like Issa but sometimes these guys are just stupid. He should have asked Lerner every question they had prepared for her and made her take the fifth on every one of them for about an hour. On TV in front of everybody. I was shocked when he just let her go. Dumb.
Oh, her underlings are being deposed as we speak, but I'm certain they are being threatened with big time prison. By taking the fifth she becomes Sgt.Shultz.
Didn't know nothin'. And she's doing her best to keep her wrinkled ass out of prison as well.
Not sure if t will work, but better lay the groundwork.
Worst case scenario, serves a couple years in stir until Obama pardons her come January 2017.
He does need to do something with his hair. Looks like hell; but I think he is great.

Not going to happen. If Obama asserted executive privilege, that would be an admission he knew what was going on.
She was white trailer trash who thought Bill Clinton would take care of her; she was foolish. Lerner isn’t going to prison for Obama. She knows he’d throw her under the bus.
She’ll accept an immunity deal to be offered by the committee once it is satisfied with her attorney’s proffer.
Scooter Libby is the perfect example of why an innocent man should not co-operate with the cops/FBI/DoJ.
Why are people asking for a special prosecutor? The only thing that would happen is Obama being able to run out the clock until 2016.
Congress has all the tools it needs to conduct their own investigation and get it substantially done in a couple of months. The power of contempt can put people in prison until they cooperate. Won’t take many before someone goes to Issa to cut an immunity deal.
Obama asserted executive privilege in Fast & Furious to save Holder’s butt. And what happened? Nuthin.
But Holder is a close advisor to Obama. Can't say that about Lerner; especially since Obama said he didn't know was was going on at the IRS.
Gowdy brings sparks and smoke like Ted Cruz does. We need a hell of a lot more Gowdys and Cruzes.

Yes, Gowdy in fact interrupted Issa to inform him that Lerner couldn’t take the 5th now because she had given an opening statement. IOW, she had testified and they had the right to cross examine her now because that effectively waived her right to take the 5th.

Good for Gowdy. That linked Politico story made it sound like it was 95% Issa and 5% Gowdy.
