I’m no lawyer, but I believe that if a witness is given immunity from prosecution, then she can be forced to answer.

Correct—and we don’t want to have this DIRTY, CORRUPT woman be given immunity.
She can be given immunity from prosecution if she tells the truth and spills the beans on higher ups. If she lies after being given immunity she can still be prosecuted for lying.....
