The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove.
Todays figures include 24% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17 (see trends). This is the worst approval index since September 26, 2012.
This is the second day in a row - but only the fourth day in the past six months - that Strong Disapproval of the president has reached 40%. The other two days were May 2 and 3.
Agree, And Chris Christie plugs too...
Romney appeared to do OK in the first debate as Obama didnt act motivated but then the last two critical debates Obama beat the crap out of him and Romney just stood there with that stupid looking grin.
Romney gave Obama a complete pass on Benghazi the last debate and I still remember that Obama punch line ‘. ..because the modern military has these new things called submarines and airplanes..’ drawing much laughs (best line in those debates and well delivered too) while Mitt just stood there smiling looking stupid, 'Duhhh, cant I pay someone else to do this for me?'.
The revolt has started.
Oh you mean the “stupid” Americans.
Obama has always considered us bitter clingers revolting.
It’s heartening. It looks like knowledge about the scandals is spreading.
All this shows is that Obama and the MSM did a great job of covering up last fall to win the election. If it all hangs out now, who cares? Its not like we’re going to re-do the election.
Funny thing is and most seem to miss it. The polls before 47% were Obama up 4. Then 47%, 1st debate, hurricane and what ended up happening? Yep 4 points. My opinion, for what it is worth, the electorate was stable as hell and the election die was cast by Aug.
Not according to all the other polls done. The questions asked show it is straight down party lines.
The thing that can be easily missed by polls is real enthusiasm. We have those who will NEVER vote GOP, and those who will never vote Dem, then we got a minority in those who would really vote for either with todays parties and environment.
I think the GOP was much better at helping Dems turn out those who would never vote GOP than vice versa.
The 47% comments certainly helped in that it reaffirmed the stereo-type that Dems (and Newt before them) had created of Romney.
And the GOP had lots of other problems, a total f-up.
But things are in the works to make 2014 the flip side of 2012, flip everything above 180 degrees.
Just a negative “bump” in the road. The drones will forget in a few months.
Barack Obama does not care. Do you think Stalin worried about his poll numbers?
