The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove.
Todays figures include 24% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17 (see trends). This is the worst approval index since September 26, 2012.
This is the second day in a row - but only the fourth day in the past six months - that Strong Disapproval of the president has reached 40%. The other two days were May 2 and 3.
And, so?
It no loner matters much, not with Obama in power over us for almost four more years. Still, it’s nice to know that the truth is filtering out and having some effect.
What difference does it maaaaake????
Wasn’t that the time frame when Reid started his Romney/Taxes nonsense?
Would that be right before he was re-elected?!
They love him. They really, really love him.
Uh oh. MSM will be switching back to default ObamaMode = “love” status immediately.
AP phone bugging will be going into the memory hole.
And yet...the right wing of the democrat party (republicans) are still pushing through amnesty.
I wish it mattered. I really do. I hope it does matter, eventually.
Imagine that! Worst approval rating since Sep 2012. Right before he won the election.
Yet he still beat Romney in all the swing states ~ 5 weeks later.
In hindsight Obama’s biggest mistake may have been in who he chose as victims. Average Joes in the Tea Party and AP reporters.
If he had unleashed the unbridled fury and power of the Federal Government upon EEEEEEEVIL banks and insurance companies, his approval numbers would likely be through the stratosphere.
Oh and Rasmussen numbers were so accurate during presidential cycle. Like I believe any drivel he is spouting.
Glad to know we are back to pre-hurricane Sandy levels.
Yeah, funny that despite the high disapproval ratings, 0bama swept Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida, all those “swing states.” What a remarkable run of luck. /s/
Well Rasm supported many here who wanted to believe that Romney was doing great no matter what and were happy with a single poll source showing that. BOOM. Rush too.
When the MSM and those Sunday morning talk shows start and keep repeating themes about Obama’s approval polls taking a dive then we will know he is hurting.
Also when he is tied up with questions on these, if he even takes questions.
Funny how the election results matched most poll results yet some here still claim they are not real.
I recall lots of hand wringing and moaning and cursing here about all the polls showing Romney losing(which most did), like this guy who is usually wrong :
The enthusiasm that got people out in 2010, I'm seeing at every Mitt Romney rally. Romney's drawing crowds of 20,000, 25,000, 30,000, 15,000. The enthusiasm that we all saw in 2010 is there.
Rush: Everything But Polls Say Romney Landslide (Newmake Monday, 05 Nov 2012)
Don't forget the intercession of Hurricane Sandy and the fortuitous CinC photo ops that came with it. Exit polls showed many voters were swayed by those images (yes, low-info Ameritards, but still a factor).
