0bama can claim plausible deniability. But if one looks at the NTEU political activities in both 2008 & 2012 a distinct pattern emerges of a very “useful idiot,” for the President.
Mr. Lord’s question:
“Did the President himself ever, at any time, discuss the Tea Party with Ms. Kelley?”
The Treasury Union’s answer:
“President Kelley has never discussed the tea party with the president.”
Notice that the actual question asked was not answered—
Q: Did the President himself discuss?
A: No, the president herself did not discuss.
Very Clintonian—it depends upon what the meaning of the term “discuss” is.
