With this kind of destruction, I’m thinking dig a hole, lie down in it and pull something hard over you to take blows if something hits that spot.

I would also look for a culvert to crawl into.

You must be aware of the funnel sucking you out of a hole. In 1999 2 sought shelter under an interstate underpass. They got sucked out and dropped .25-.5 miles away.

Sharing a culvert with a pissed off cotton mouth is not my idea of protection. I had one on my porch about 4 pm at height of a nasty hail storm in my area (eastern OKC metro).Water and hail bring them out seeking shelter.
