Thanks for this post.
I have elevated LDL cholesterol but, I also have elevated HDL
and consider it as an offset.
I refuse to take any statin drug.
I have heard the good things about CoQ10, but need to find a good source here.
For now, I rely on ample doses of red wine every day ;)

Same here Alex. My HDL is over 120. I continue to eat healthy and bike 80 miles per week and hit the gym 3 days a week. Screw statins! I don’t think there is a once size fits all guideline regarding cholesterol.
