Gives the Dems plenty of time to corroborate their fictitious stories.
And the GOP has time to ram thru amnesty.
Sometimes you have to ask yourself: who’s worse MSM or the GOP establishment? At least the MSM has an excuse: if we attack Obama that might make us look like so-called “unbiased” reporters.

Also, pressure should be kept on the Tea Party Reps of 2010 and the TP Caucus, to remind them they were sent to DC to clean house.

They need prayers, they’re up against some tough characters with the highest backing money and muscle can purchase.
And they need a flood of communication.
And they need to do not only research, but reexamination of the Constitution and letter of the law and how ethics fall into that; they’ll be dealing with a lot of “it wasn’t illegal”.
And they need gonads, questionable.

Nevermind principle, they're not even good politicians. They're getting opportunities for victory handed to them on a silver golden gem encrusted platter and "leadership" hardly takes notice. Boehner just wants to make deals. He helps himself. He's GOT to go. I know he's made some statements that sound good, but there's nothing on the schedule! Amazing!!!
The thing about running investigative hearings is that you want to know what the witnesses are going to say before they actually testify. Then, you can stitch the hearings into a sequence that will tell a coherent story -- rather than present a randomly generated set of facts before the public.
In order to do that, most witnesses are deposed beforehand. And more witnesses are deposed than are called to testify.
Accordingly, over the next two weeks, the investigative committees will be deposing a couple of dozen witnesses -- before selecting those who will advance the story when they actually testify.
Moreover, as with the past Benghazi hearings, the testimony to come will be selectively leaked several days in advance of the hearing date so as to pique the interest of the public and get the MSM's attention.
A successful Congressional investigation is laboriously planned choreographed for maximum impact, as well as maximum information.
