There are a lot of semis chambered in various calibers, which have no external safety; Glocks being just one of them. I have a G32/.357sig, which stays in my safe; instead I carry CCW one of two 5” 1911 Kimber .45cal ACPs, round chambered, cocked and locked. The G32 always went unchambered after I saw a LEO shoot himself in the foot when drawing his service revolver.

True, but since something like 40% of LE use Glocks, I’m sticking to my guess.

No disrespect meant to those of you who carry your weapon chamber empty, that of course is a personal choice. Anyone who shoots themselves while drawing or holstering
had their finger on the trigger and were A. improperly trained or B. just plain stupid. If you carry "Chamber Empty" and need to employ your weapon in a stressful situation, you will be way behind the power curve in the fight. Best wishes
