Obama calls IRS flap 'inexcusable,' announces resignation of acting IRS chief

President Barack Obama said Wednesday that he was "angry" at IRS officials who inappropriately targeted conservative groups for scrutiny, announcing that his administration had sought and accepted Steven Miller's resignation as interim commissioner of the IRS.

"I've reviewed the Treasury Department watchdog's report, and the misconduct that it uncovered was inexcusable," Obama said in a statement at the White House. "It's inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I'm angry about it."

Saying he won't tolerate this sort of behavior from an agency, especially the IRS, President Barack Obama announces the resignation of the acting IRS commissioner and the implementation of measures to prevent such activity again.

The president said that he expected the IRS to act with even higher levels of integrity than other government agencies and that, to that end, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew had sought and accepted Miller's resignation — something many Republicans had demanded.

Smoke screen? YEP.

That said, Obama was worried...and mad.

There are many whistleblowers at the IRS. And they are getting their whistles ready...and Obama knows this.

“Inexcusable” to be found out!

Exactly. Now, how about Benghazi, Soetoro? Were you not responsible because you disappeared that night? Is that not "inexcusable?" Let's ask Jay Carney (aka Benghazi Jay).

“No this was government tyranny and thuggery.

Obama’s IRS locked out 500 conservative tea party groups out of contributing to the 2012 election . So democrats/socialists stole the Senate and the presidency by intimidating would be conservative donors and groups into not participating. Obama’s IRS denied conservatives the right to participate in the election and politics. and they stole the election to further damage America and its people”

That is the money quote.

Parsing semantics

Remember the line that initial reports indicated ansar al-sharia took responsibility but later denied involvement?

Today’s document dump indicates “the group has since released that the leadership did not order the attacks, but did not deny that some of its members were involved”.

It’s easy to make someone resign AFTER Obozo benefited from obtaining information on his enemies through the IRS.

Even when all the missing FBI files showed up in Slick and Hilldebeast's bedroom and they managed to skate around it, Zero knew he couldn't be touched if he blamed someone else. These lying b**tards survive due to "plausible deniability."

So...a variation of “you can’t fire me, I quit”? To wit “your contract is up, so I demand you resign”?

Jack Lew had sought and accepted Miller's resignation — something many Republicans had demanded.

WOW!!! That sounds really good. Until you read this and realize that Miller's term is up in June and he's leaving anyway.

These guys have a psychological block against being honest. Nope! Can't do that! Never! Never!

Life sentences, not resignations, and apply that all the way to the top.

“Acting Chief”??????

WHERE’S THE REAL CHIEF????

Did they transfer out quietly?
Did they reitre, and leave the position vacant?
Did they have emergency medical attention, confining them to a critical care section of a hospital?
Did they have a baby, and are out on maternity leave?
