It is possible that you are right, but with Stevens dead and the co-conspirators overseas, this will be a very tough nut to crack.

The IRS stuff, if managed correctly (I know, if your Aunt had....) is a rapid pathway to removal, IMO, since multiple crimes have been suborned and the GS folk involved don’t want to go down.

Basically, the Rs need to kick the administration at every weak point, which means every criminal wrongdoing. Then when they are weakened, hit them harder. Leave nothing out.

More witnesses want to tell what they know. Many people know what was going on, not just Stevens. This is huge, and many crimes were committed - not just "impeachable" offenses, but decades or a lifetime of imprisonment (at the least). I do not understand your desire to ignore this.
