Obama also gets paid taxpayer money to lie—and paid a lot more than Jay Carney. But he also is required to play golf at least once a week as part of the bargain.

There’s a reason that they hire inexperienced, naive people into these positions. They’re much easier to corrupt.

Everytime Carney’s face comes on TV, just before I change the channel, I remember how much I miss Tony Snow. They just don’t make people like him any more.

BTW, there's priceless picture going around the internet with a picture of Carney in front of the oval "Whitehouse Washington" sign, and Carney's head is blocking out all the letters except the two lines that spell "White Wash". I don't know how to grab it off an email and post it here. Never has a picture more accurately depicted it's content.
Carney always reminded me of Chip Diller, the Omega frat pledge played by Kevin Bacon in "Animal House." ("REMAIN CALM! ALL IS WELL!!!")
