Is that our standard? “Most men’s points of view?” That’s not my standard.
“Most men” can think a lot of things are ok. So what? They and be and often are wrong.
So older women (if they are “hot,”) can have sex with teen boys and it’s all good;
but older men (even if they are “hot,”) can’t have sex with teen girls without being rapists.
Ridiculous, wrong, bad for teens, terrible for our country, just terrible reasoning. No wonder the Muzzies see us as corrupt. And this on FR, supposedly a conservative board.
I highly doubt that the law that was broken here mentions anything at all about corruption, warped lives, ruined families or anything other than the actual details of the crime itself.
I agree, Not Guilty! No red blooded (single) male would turn her down.
In your world perhaps, but I grew up in a time when adultery was considered a very serious sin against God’s laws, and a young man who helped a wife commit such an act was considered ‘a lowlife’. Are we at the stage when God’s say is no longer enlightened? In your world, perhaps ...

We, you and me and the rest of America, are losing our Republic because we no longer maintain a taboo structure to restrain evil desires. Our leadersship is thoroughly corrupted and going about the business of corrupting US the more. I suspected you wouldn’t condone adultery, but I was trying to point out that the young man in question (I raised a Christian son who is now a father an in his forties) has sinned against the woman’s marriage, and she of course has abandoned her vows before God. Sorry if I jumped on you too strongly. I did want to make these points, but I should not do so at your expense.
I thought women said they matures 2 years ahead of men, yet, these teachers all seem to want young boys for sex. Guess they can’t handle having sex with men.

“Should there be statutory rape when the adult is a hot 25-year-old chick and the “victim” is a 16-year-old young man? I’d give my son a high-five for that and ask if he wore a condom... and maybe get on his case some for blabbing about it afterwards. A man needs to be a gentleman, after all.
If the genders were reversed, though, a 25-year-old male teacher who raped my 16-year-old daughter (or son) would find himself six feet under. I have no problem with this double-standard.

P.S. I bet you’d have all kinds of heartburn if that older woman sued you for child support since it was your minor son that got her pregnant and won all kinds of money for the next 18 years. Oh, and, uh way to be a parent and protect your son from such harm since he also wouldn’t be eligible to attend any military university having a child to take care of and would be saddled with a child he didn’t fully appreciate would affect his life being the child he was. In the documentary, “Waiting for Superman”, it was stressed that bad neighborhoods do **not** make bad schools. It is just the opposite, bad schools cause bad neighborhoods.
Well!.....If our nation’s children attend socialist-entitlement K-12 schools that have **never** been more than lukewarm in its Protestant worldview, have been secular since my grandmother’s day ( born 1894), and completely GODLESS since the sixties, what can we expect?
Godless and secular schools will raise up ( eventually) a godless and evil people. The taboos will eventually crack.
I pray that God will save our nation but I won’t be surprised if He doesn’t. Why? Two reasons:
1) Abortion: Millions of Christians can turn out to buy a chicken sandwich but can’t figure out a way to put a complete end to abortion. Really?
2) Christian children keep the godless K-12 schools open. There are many, many counties and even whole states where, if Christians removed their kids, the entire abominable system of godless K-12 socialist-entitlement schooling would immediately collapse. This evil system of godless indoctrination exists because Christians let it.

Also....These women are more like Mrs. Robinson in the movie, “The Graduate”. They will blackmail and emotionally manipulate. Can some boys overcome this emotionally turbulent first encounter with a woman and then move on to a healthy relationship with a wife later? Maybe but his chances are diminished.

Excellent point. Dear old dad didn’t protect his son from a pedophile that has an STD and the son didn’t fully appreciate what STD do and are. Great going dad, got your son laid but now he has a lifelong STD. Seems dad is also an STD carrier type. Maybe dad and the teacher should get together and save the son the heartburn.
